The firm was established in 1953 and over the years we have grown in size. The Brindleys Chartered Accountants team consists of 3 qualified professional accountants, 2 partly qualified accountants, a financial planner, a paraplanner and 2 support specialists.

Allan is a Chartered Accountant with more than 30 years experience in providing accounting, auditing and taxation advice. Since becoming an Authorised Financial Planning Representative in 1996, Allan has been providing financial advice to clients in many areas including: wealth building, tax minimisation strategies, superannuation, accounting and investment advice
Allan is a Registered Tax Agent, Registered Company Auditor and a JP. Allan has completed a Graduate Diploma in IT at Charles Sturt University. He is also a MYOB Certified Consultant and Xero Certified Advisor.
Allan's interests and hobbies include bushwalking, cycling and reading.

Suzanne Brindley CA, BEc (SYD), Grad Dip Adv Tax (NSW)
Suzanne is a Chartered Accountant with more than 20 years experience in providing accounting, auditing and taxation advice and services.
Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University and a Graduate Diploma of Advanced Taxation from the University of NSW.
Suzanne's interests and hobbies include cycling and bushwalking.
Soolan Clifford Dip. Fin Planning, CFP
Soolan entered the Financial Planning industry with AMP in 1997 and moved onto Colonial Financial Planning 3 years later.
During this time at Colonial, Soolan became a Certified Financial Planner and Colonial became part of CBA. Soolan & her family moved to the Mudgee region in 2004 during which time Soolan took the opportunity to continue as a home based paraplanner, whilst looking after a young family. Joining Brindleys 5 years ago, Soolan is an active member of our financial planning team.
Soolan enjoys an active lifestyle filled with running, cycling and time with her family & friends.

Tania Harris CPA, BEc (SYD), JP
Tania is a Certified Practising Accountant with more than 25 years experience in providing accounting and taxation advice. Tania holds a Bachelor of Economics Degree from Sydney University.
Tania's professional interests include Self Managed Super Funds & advising clients on software packages such as MYOB, Quickbooks and Xero.
Outside of work, Tania's interests and hobbies include reading, sewing, photography and music.
Shane McDermott, CERT IV Banking, Finance & Accountancy
Shane has 13 years of Accountancy experience, having joined Devocht & Co in 2005. Previously from Hawkesbury, Shane & his family relocated to the Mudgee region to take up the opportunity at Brindleys.
Shane has a long history in Finance and Business having previously been employed in the banking and construction industries.
Shane is an avid sports fan and enjoys a round of golf when he can.
Ded has been with us since moving to Mudgee with her family in 2001. When Deb started working as our receptionsit she brought a wealth of experience and extertise from her previous job in administraation at an Insuranc Brokerage Firm in Sydney. Deb has recently moved into a PA role for our Drector Allan Brindley.
In her free time, Deb loves to relax with a good book and enjoys movies of all genres, especially musicals. Deb has also recently discovered the joys of what she likes to call "Glamping" (glamorous camping) and is looking forward to getting some use out of her new pop top caravan in 2019.
Jess is our receptionist and first point of contact with the business. She commenced working with the firm at the start of 2019 and is responsible for many and varied administrative tasks around the office.
Jess comes from a background working in administraton and is currently studying to complete a Bachelor of Accounting degree. What time Jess does have off is spent working the farm with her partner at Lue and travelling (or planning where to go next!).
Kate joined the firm in July 2018, taking up a book keeping role. She has over 15 years' experience in bookkeeping for small to medium sized businesses and now works with our accounting team preparing activity statements and income tax returns.
Kate is also studying to complete a Bachelor of Account degree at Charles Sturt University.
Outside of work and study, Kate enjoys getting into a good book, as well as gardening and patchwork quilting.
Jessica Simunic, BBus (UON), JP
Jess is a recent graduate from the University of Newcastle who joined the firm as a paraplanner and marketing coordinator in mid-2018 after relocating to Mudgee. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree and majored in Marketing and Management.
Since starting in her role as a paraplanner, Jess has also completed a course in Fiancial Planning Fundamentals and is set to start her Graduate Diploma in Fiancial Planning soon.
Outside of work, you can find Jess either in her garden, picking out a good book at the library or training for the upcoming football season with the Mudgee Wolves ladies' team.
